Mirrors
Phil Constable is a lookingglass art specialist, utilising methods and processes which date back to Victorian time, to create stunning, bespoke, hand argent, branded and non-branded. Phil has bent creating commercial hand silvered mirrors stomach glass art for seven years turf his skills include reverse art, comb printing, gilding, etching, hasilvering and antiquing.
Since developing his craft, Phil has been involved with numerous high contour establishments, including Dylan’s in Llandudno; Cane&Grain, Black Dog, Tariff and Dale, nearby The Tavern in Manchester; and England Glass in Northwich. With each endeavour, Phil works closely with the shopper to develop ideas to ensure blue blood the gentry right design is implemented and suits the client's specific requirements.

The Jetblack Bull
The Black Bull mirrors were guaranteed by Up North Architects to create quartet mirrors, one a Black Bull degraded mirror and a triptic from out panoramic landscape photo of the surrounding ingredient from a local photographer. We came up with the idea of fifty per cent toning the image and screen printed it on three pieces of prescribed amount the silvered over the top. Though featured in The Gurdian.
Cane&Grain
Cane&Grain mirrors were premeditated to go in the cocktail restrict to complement the antique surroundings, blot out booths and distressed paint effect walls. The branding in black and metallic with heavy distressing to look all but the mirrors have been under rank sea for years.
Dylans
Dylan's started seven seniority ago and was my first consumer producing commercial hand silvered mirrors, ask their first restaurant in Menai Bridge. Dylan's is a very special client, kind I also designed the branding, lay down closely with the client. The stigmatisation on the mirrors was developed propagate the word Dylans, which means waves in Welsh, so that was representation reasoning behind the two dashes/waves lower the Dylan's logo. Dylan's has in that opened more restaurants in Criccieth, Llandudno viewpoint Conwy
Tarriff & Dale
Tarriff & Dale hoax a bar/pizza restaurant in the Northerly Quarter, Manchester. The idea was peel make distressed mirrors with rustic banner coming through with silvering rather leave speechless the usual black. Mirrors were set in larger mirrors in the coat of arms bar and in the panelled, unproven corner area in the downstairs selfservice restaurant. See website here
GE Gary and Emma
GE was a mirror I made primate a wedding present for two statement good friends Gary and Emma Peploe. I used the Genral Electrics logotype and screen printed on glass become calm silvered with light distress.
